What we run
How members meet each other
Events are the main way members meet each other, learn from practitioners outside their own city, and keep up with how the industry is changing.
Workshops
Practical, hands-on sessions on materials, detailing, costing, site supervision, software and specification.
Seminars and talks
Sessions with practising designers, manufacturers and consultants on sustainability, lighting, acoustics, regulation and business practice.
Networking meets
Informal city-level gatherings for members to meet peers, contractors and suppliers.
Studio and site visits
Guided visits to completed projects and working studios.

The 2027 event calendar is being finalised and will be published on this page as dates are confirmed. We do not list events here until the date, venue and speakers are confirmed, so this page is always an accurate picture of what is actually scheduled.
Dates are announced on the IIDA WhatsApp channel first. Follow it, or send us your details and tell us which city you are in.
Attending
Most events are open to members at no charge or at a reduced rate; some are open to non-members for a fee. Where a fee applies, cancellation and refund terms are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Host or propose an event
If you would like to host a session, speak at one, or suggest a topic your city needs, write to us at iida.official.org@gmail.com. Member-led events are how most of our programme starts.
